If you don’t already have hosting we can host the website for you on our servers. We maintain private servers optimized for speed, security, and performance.

Every hosting account comes with the OrgSpring Website Passport, a document designed to house all your important website information in one place. A necessity for any nonprofit.

Domain Name Registration

If you don’t have a domain name (example: www.YourNonprofit.org) we can take care of that for you. But we don’t just simply buy you a domain. We also put it into an account under your organizational email, that way you retain complete control and ownership of the domain – just in case you need to make changes down the road.

Social Network Setup

You know that having a presence on social networks will help you get the word out, but you’re not sure how to go about setting them up or how to create the graphics needed to make yours look good. With our Social Network Setup we will create and/or edit one social network for you, including a graphical header, and profile image/icon. We’ll add you as manager to take over your account management once the account is live, and we’ll even give you templates to use with posts you might add in the future.

Content Management

If you’d rather not fuss with adding your own content we can do that too. We can add static pages – things like mission statements, visions, organizational history, staff listings, etc.  We can also add dynamic content like blog posts, event updates, etc. This also includes adding forms, images, photos or other media to those pages. You supply the content and media and we get it up on your site. Price is based on number of pages needed.

E-Commerce

We will add an e-commerce solution to your website giving you the ability to take donations online. This adds a full-featured shop and store to your site, which can also be used to sell products or services. The E-Commerce system allows you to take one-time or recurring payments, and you can also personalize the checkout experience with additional user information for things like t-shirts, memorial donations, honorarium, special program designations, etc.

The Basic e-commerce solution integrates with PayPal. Of course, you’ll need a PayPal account for that integration to work. We can also configure it to work with any number of credit card gateways so you can take credit card payments without ever having to leave your site. Please note, accepting credit cards may require obtaining an SSL (secure socket layer) to keep customer card information secure with encryption.

Events Calendar

We’ll add events functionality giving you the ability to add events to your site and display them in a listing or a monthly calendar. You can also display events based on location with an events map. Visitors to the site will be able to register for events and attendees can be managed through your website admin panel. You can also configure tickets to be emailed to attendees, and attendees can be checked-in at live events using your computer, smart phone or tablet.

The events calendar is also integrated with Google Maps. If you have e-commerce installed, we can also integrate the events calendar with that system allowing you to sell tickets to events.

Google Analytics

Knowing how people find you and how they interact with your content once on your site is the best way to make improvements to your site. The best analytics program on the market is Google Analytics. We will install Google Analytics and track traffic to and through your site. We’ll also provide a monthly report with recommendations on ways to improve your content, traffic, and search engine rankings.

Maintenance

Every website needs to be maintained, especially one as sophisticated as WordPress; which puts out updates to core files on a bi-monthly basis to maintain the highest levels of performance and security. This keeps your site fresh and relevant, and will extend the life of your site indefinitely. Plugins that add functionality to your site like event calendars, e-commerce for contributions and donations, even the blog functionality itself also need to be maintained. Also, no one likes to read your great article espousing the importance of an issue vital to your organization only to reach the end and start reading spam comments and irrelevant notes from people seeking only to detract from your message.

But if day-to-day maintenance of your site is a task you’d rather not risk yourself, or if technology is a four letter work in your vocabulary, we’d be happy to maintain the site for you. The Maintenance plan includes the following:

  • Includes Hosting (so you don’t have to pay extra for that!)
  • Daily backups of your website files and all its content
  • Restoration if you accidentally delete important information on your site
  • Theme and plugin updates (as needed)
  • Daily malware scans
  • Database optimization
  • No long-term contracts – everything is month-to-month and can be upgraded, downgraded, or cancelled any time

You may, from time to time, run into a situation that requires help from someone more savvy than you on the web. “How do I embed this Tweet?”, or “How can I auto-post my blog articles to my Facebook page”, or “I accidentally deleted my site – how do I get it back?”

Website support can cost as much as $150 per hour for fixing and repairing sites and even simple jobs can take other less-experienced developers days or weeks to finish what should normally take just a few minutes. The Support plan includes the following:

  • Includes Hosting (so you don’t have to pay extra for that!)
  • Includes everything in the Maintenance Plan (so you don’t have to pay extra for that!)
    • Daily backups of your website files and all its content
    • Restoration if you accidentally delete important information on your site
    • Theme and plugin updates (as needed)
    • Daily malware scans
    • Database optimization
  • Comment moderation – spam comments and malicious posts will be removed by our team automatically.
  • Access to OrgSpring Support via phone, email, and dedicated ticketed support channel. If you have any questions about your website, pick up the phone, shoot us an email, or visit our support site and create a ticket. We will respond in just a few minutes, and most tickets are resolved in 24 hours or less. If after providing support you’re still not getting it – we’ll even create a custom video tutorial walking you through it step-by-step.
  • Access for your entire team. If you have support staff or a volunteer that needs help getting something posted on the site, we will work with him or her too.
  • No long-term contracts – everything is month-to-month and can be upgraded, downgraded, or cancelled any time

Additional Perks of Support Plan

  • With our support plan, we will help you choose additional plugins and features that add the functionality you need. If we own it or have a developer’s license to use it, we will install it on your site at no additional cost and configure it to work with your site.
  • Uptime Monitoring – If something goes wrong with your site we’ll know about it and take appropriate action immediately.
