Labor of Love Home Health Care Chooses OrgSpring for Its Nonprofit Website Design

Labor of Love Home Health Care ( is a new site designed and developed by OrgSpring for a special nonprofit in New Jersey.

The organization is run by Dr. Raul Medina, an interesting man with an interesting story.

Dr. Medina was in a horrible car accident, struck by a car moving 80 mph when his own car was stopped. He was thrown from the car and into oncoming traffic where was struck by another car and dumped roadside. Raul would spend the next few days on operating tables during which time he actually died and was revived several times. He’d then spend the next 8 months in a coma, followed by another 2 years in the hospital rehab. He is paralyzed and will likely remain in a wheelchair for the remainder of his life.

None of this tragedy got in the way of Dr. Medina’s desire to counsel youth and bring religion to a small town about an hour south of Trenton, NJ. Dr. Medina would found the Liberty Tabernacle Family Worship Center, and the Labor of Love Home Health Care in response to his life’s calling, and to help those who have suffered similar injuries.

In particular, Labor of Love Home Health Care provides services to people who require health care but cannot afford to have full-time nurse staff tend to them. Dr. Medina’s organization picks up where medicare, medicaid, and insurance money run out – making sure no one is left alone, and that they receive around the clock coverage they need to thrive in their own homes.

Dr. Medina came to OrgSpring needing to create a site that would be easy to update and to get information to his constituents.

We installed and modified a custom theme to display his amazing story, organizational services, and to take applicants and donations directly online.
