Announcing OrgSpring University – Continuing Education for Nonprofit Professionals

We’re very excited to announce the next evolution of online learning: OrgSpring University – offering continuing education for Nonprofit Professionals.

We’re launching in May 2013 with our flagship course, From Can’t to Grant – a 10 week series taking you from a blank page to a completed grant ready for submission to foundations for funding. More about that in a moment…

So what’s this OrgSpring University All About?

Real Instructors and Real Nonprofits

OrgSpring University features real instructors who have actually worked with real nonprofits, not just self-proclaimed nonprofit “experts” who did some pro-bono work, or someone who wrote a fancy book ten years ago on some topic that is no longer relevant.

We’ve tapped current and former board members, executive directors, directors of development, grant administrators, and CEO’s of national nonprofits large and small; all with teaching experience, and all very successful in what they do.

The Best Technology on the Web

Our courses are delivered through live webinars, online audio and video, and through written assignments. Live webinars are posted within 24 hours of first run, so that you can download video right away and reinforce topics you recently learned.

Access webinars and course material anywhere; including in your office, at home, on your desktop, on your ipads and android tablets, even on your mobile phones. We make use of the best technology the web has to offer to deliver a learning experience like no other.

Support from the Pros

Every OrgSpring University course comes with access to the student forums where learning happens outside of live courses and webinars. You’ll get to interact with course instructors, ask pressing questions, and follow up on topics where you need more help.

You can post homework assignments, pictures, and documents and get comments back directly from staff and guest lecturers. It’s also a great opportunity to network with foundation execs and your fellow nonprofit professionals and students.

And we’re kicking it all off with the most in-depth course on grant writing out there, called From Can’t to Grant.

From Can’t to Grant – 10 Week Live Webinar Grant Seminar

In May 2013, we’re launching our flagship course, taking you step-by-step through the process of grant writing. No previous grant writing experience is necessary. The course will be delivered via 10 live webinars, and also accessible on-demand through the course website.

Real Instructors – Real Grants – Real Results!

We’re going to share with you several successful grants written directly by our instructors; you’ll get copies of every single one of them. We’re also going to give you a grant writing checklist to help you in writing your own material. You’ll learn everything you need to go from a blank page to a fully-finished grant, ready for funding submissions.

Guest Lecturers from the biggest Foundations in the World

And if that wasn’t enough, we’ve included special instruction from some very special guest lecturers: we’ll be joined by grant administrators from some of the biggest foundations in the world, including the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation, Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, Center for Disaster Philanthropy, and the Dan and Margaret Maddox Charitable Fund. Together, they’ve been responsible for grants totaling more than $50 million to more than 100 national nonprofits just like yours!

They’ll be sharing exactly what they like to see in nonprofit grants, and information on how you can develop relationships with grant administrators just like them.

Stop Saying “I can’t” and Start Writing that Grant!

You know that you’re doing good work. We know you are doing good work. It’s time you let the foundations know about it, and it’s time you put aside all the excuses why you can’t write that grant. Find out more about OrgSpring University and the From Can’t to Grant course by visiting our official website via the link below.

Over the next few days we’ll be releasing more information and opening the doors to registration. Because the course is being held as a live webinar, we’re limiting the amount of space available. Be sure to get on the launch list now!
